On 29 and 30 November 2025, the NMUN Tübingen delegation successfully completed its first simulation, marking an important milestone on our journey to NMUN New York 2026.
Over the course of two intensive days, delegates stepped into their diplomatic roles and experienced the full simulation cycle: coordinating positions within committees, drafting and negotiating resolutions, delivering formal speeches, and engaging in structured voting procedures. The simulation provided a realistic insight into multilateral diplomacy and the dynamics of UN decision-making.
Particular emphasis was placed on teamwork, strategic coordination, and procedural accuracy. Delegates demonstrated strong commitment, professionalism, and a growing confidence in both formal debate and informal negotiations. The sessions highlighted not only individual preparation, but also the importance of collective problem-solving and consensus-building.
This first simulation laid a solid foundation for the months ahead. With valuable feedback, new insights, and strengthened team spirit, the delegation is highly motivated to further develop its skills and represent its assigned country with dedication and responsibility at NMUN 2026.
